2015 Woodland Art Fair

In exactly one week, I will be setting up my space for the Woodland Art Fair in Lexington, Ky. This is my 2nd year participating in this event. I had such a warm reception last year and am really looking forward to the weekend! In preparation, I’ve been working on new pieces and will have a good selection of wonderful little people and critters available. Today I’m working especially hard on some sweet sculptures to share during the Woodland Art Fair.

AND…I’m really looking forward to the food. Is that wrong of me? If it is, I guess I don’t want to be right! Crank and Boom ice cream, my current obsession, will be available during the fair as well as Goodfella’s Pizza, which is a little slice of heaven! So if you stop by my booth, don’t be surprised if I’m in the middle of my blackberry buttermilk ice cream! Oh, it’s to die for–like the last bite of blackberry cobbler, when the ice cream is melted.

These are some sneak peeks of the pieces I’m working on today (and will be working on this weekend!).

2015 Berea Craft Festival

It’s almost time! You can bet my hands have been busy getting ready for the 34th annual Berea Craft Festival. It’s one of my most favorite events. I love displaying my artwork here & having the opportunity to talk about what I do with art enthusiasts. I love seeing friends! And I love looking at all the amazing art & crafts that are available during this event. It’s family friendly too! Lots of demonstrations. You’ll get the opportunity to see artisans work on their craft right in front of your eyes. It’s a great opportunity to bring kids. It’s amazing to see how some of the items you use every day are brought to life. Great food & music! If you are looking for a fun, educational experience this weekend, come to the Berea Craft Festival! It’s a rich experience.

If you get a chance, stop by this weekend! I promise you, you’ll have a fun time. (I was super excited to see my dolls as part of the advertising for the Berea Craft Festival this year!)

Elliott County’s 2nd annual Minnie Adkins Day

This should be a ton of fun! Visit Little Sandy Lodge on July 18th. Over 60 vendors will be present with a variety of work including folk art, fine art and crafts. Some of the vendors include:

Rebecca Miller Campbell

Ron Gevedon

and many, many others.

In addition, some gallery collectors will be present with past works available for sale. This should be a fantastic event for folk and fine art enthusiasts!

A Day in the Country 2015 (In Pics)

The first weekend in June just might be my favorite time of the year. There is for sure a lot to see & hear if you happen to be in Morehead, Ky. I could tell you how amazing, dynamic and interesting all the art was, how nice it was to see artists explaining their work to enthusiasts and to see collectors acquiring pieces by their favorites, but I think I’ll just let the photos speak for me. If you’re interested in what you see, make plans to attend next year’s Day in the Country at Morehead Conference Center in Morehead, Ky. You won’t be disappointed!
