This big girl is sure to fill your home with smiles this spring!

Meet Emmie & Grace. They’ve been made of muslin & stuffed with fiberfill. Emmie measures 28″ tall from head to toe. Grace measures a wee 8″. Emmie sits nicely on her own. Her lower torso is rag-stuffed & bean-filled in order to weight her little bottom. Both dolls have been painted & sanded a couple of times, giving them lovely, aged patinas. Emmie’s been sealed with a combination of glossy & matte sealers so that she may be lightly dusted after display. Grace has been sealed with a transparent varnish with UV filter.

Give by Losing.

Pound For Pound Challenge - I took the pledge to lose weight and help feed those in need - JOIN ME!

Click the icon above & pledge to lose some weight! For every pound you lose, General Mills will donate 10¢ to Feeding America™— enough to provide one pound of groceries to a local food bank.

Here’s how it works

Pledge to lose weight at PFPChallenge.com between December 15, 2008 – April 27, 2009.

Come back for a final weigh-in between April 1, 2009 – May 5, 2009 to report the amount of weight you’ve lost since your chosen start date (no earlier than December 15, 2008). For every pound you’ve lost (up to a maximum weight loss of 2 pounds per week, averaged over the entire period from your start date through your report date), General Mills will donate 10¢ to Feeding America™ – enough to secure and deliver one pound of groceries to one of the approximately 200 local food banks in Feeding America’s network. $500,000 maximum donation. General Mills guarantees a minimum donation of $100,000 to Feeding America in the event that fewer than 1 million pounds of weight loss are reported in the aggregate by individuals who participate in this program.

Watch The Biggest Loser Season 7 including the season finale (currently scheduled for May 12, 2009) to see America’s Pound For Pound weight loss total and learn how much money will be donated to Feeding America to help local food banks.

If you’ve already started losing weight but haven’t pledged those pounds, don’t worry. If you began after Dec. 15, you can list that as your start date.

My sweet husband Dave & I have lost 18 lbs already through diet modification & exercise. Hurray! You can do it too!
