That pesky influenza.

Hi kiddies,

I have no dollies to offer this week. My body’s been hijacked by illness & I’ve spent a number of days in bed, sleeping, drinking Sunny Delight, slathering myself with Vick’s, popping meds & sleeping some more. Hopefully, I will return to normal in the next few days.

Here’s a pretty picture for you all in the meantime. I had several dolls here at once & decided to take a group shot. I love how they look individually but REALLY love how they look grouped together. (I can only imagine what they all would look like displayed! In my mind, it’s such a lovely image.)

    Hi Rebecca,
    So sorry to hear that you are sick, me too, so I have even more empathy than usual. I feel like I am on the mend today, though. Thank you so much for the “You Rock My Art World” nomination, that was so nice of you.
    I love your doll ( I love ALL your dolls, really)with the egg, I was so inspired by that Sharyn Sowell article too, I went right out and bought paper cutting supplies. It’s ALOT harder than it looks. I think you captured the papercut look in that egg, just beautiful.

    Hope you get better quick. Something seems to be going around and I feel like I keep fighting something off. Your dolls are awesome! I dont know which of the fours is my fav. I’d maybe say the one on the right with the egg. I’m always impressed by your work!

    Hi Dear,

    Thought you might have been spared with that nasty bug even after your hubby had it! I remember all too well how bad I felt. Oh it was awful! I feel for you.

    I just thought I’d peek in to see what you were up too….hope you are up and moving in no time. By the way…I love VIC’s! It’s what my Mother used on us as kids…and I swear by it.

    Get Well Soon OK!! I will miss viewing the lovely work this week…but your well being is much more important now.

    Thank you all so much for the get well wishes! Thankfully, I am feeling better & am working on a new little girl. JeAnn, I happen to swear by Vick’s too! It is just the absolute best!!!

    Julie, oh yes. I have no clue how she does that intricate work with Paper & Scissors, except that it must just be her absolute CALLING. I wouldn’t even know where to begin.

    Again, thank you all so much for such sweet, uplifting comments! It is so good to finally have a little bit of sense again.
