Viv, a Primitive Girl Who Dreams of Spring.

This little girl will make your forget you ever had the winter blahs! Meet Viv & her sweet spring lamb.

Viv & her lamb are my original designs. They’ve been made of muslin & stuffed with fiberfill. Viv measures 15.5″ tall from head to toe. She sits nicely on her own. Her lower torso is rag-stuffed & bean-filled in order to weight her little bottom. Viv & lamb have been painted & sanded a couple of times, giving them lovely, aged patinas. Both dolls have been sealed with a combination of glossy & matte sealers so that they may be lightly dusted after display. Viv’s knees have been sewn through, making her a great shelf sitter. Her arms are lightly wired so that they may be gently posed.

Viv & lamb have been painted with a variety of media. Viv’s nose & bottom lip have been needle-sculpted by hand giving her a perfect pout. Her hands have been needle-sculpted as well. She sports tan painted gloves. She also sports painted brown boots with tan laces & sweet mustard yellow laces.

Viv’s blouse is made of white muslin. It features hand-gathered sleeves & hand-stitching around the neckline. It is finished off with a vintage button. Viv’s colorful skirt is made out of four 100% cotton prints! They’re so folksy & charming! The hem features hand-stitching in a contrasting brown thread. Viv’s clothing was treated to a lavender bud/coffee bath for a slightly aged appearance. All clothing was then hand-washed & pressed.

This little lamb has been sewn from five separate parts. Each limb was hand-stitched to the body. A tuft of white wool has been attached with needle-felting for a tail.

Viv’s hair is 100% black mohair. It has been applied with light glue for extra security & needle-felting. It is needle-felted to the side & left long & loose.

Ginger – A Primitive Tan Chihuahua!

Meet Ginger! She looks a little sad. But trust me, she’s a feisty little girl! Ginger is my original design & is guaranteed one of a kind art. She’s been made of muslin & stuffed with fiberfill. She measures 12.5″ tall from the tip of her ears to her toes. She’s been painted & sanded a couple of times, giving her a lovely, aged patina. She’s been sealed with a combination of glossy & matte sealers so that she may be lightly dusted from time to time. Ginger’s lower torso is rag-stuffed & bean filled to allowing her to sit nicely without assistance. Her knees have been sewn through.

Ginger’s sweet face has been painted with a variety of media. Her ears have been attached by hand. Her paws have been needle-sculpted by hand. And, yes, this sophisticated lady is wearing pretty painted brown boots with tan socks & red laces!

Ginger’s blouse has been sewn from taupe osnaburg. It features hand-gathered sleeves, hand-stitching around the neckline and back & a vintage mother of pearl button. Ginger’s apron skirt has been sewn from 100% cotton. It features hand-stitching along the hemline.

Flora – A Valentine’s Butterfly in Shades of Pink.

This little girl is Flora. She measures 10.5″ tall from head to toe & has a 7″ wingspan. She’s been painted & sanded a couple of times, giving her a lovely, aged patina. Her body been sealed with a combination of glossy & matte sealers so that she may be lightly dusted after display. Flora can sit only with assistance. She has a hemp loop attached to her back for hanging.

Flora’s face has been painted with a variety of media. Her nose & bottom lip have been needle-sculpted by hand giving her a sweet little pout. Flora’s hands have been needle-sculpted by hand. She sport tan painted gloves with cream & pink polka dot trim. She also sports painted brown boots with tan socks (matching cream & pink polka dot trim) & taupe laces.

Flora’s blouse has been sewn from white muslin. It features hand-gathered sleeves, hand-stitching around the collar & back & a vintage button along the neckline. Flora’s skirt is 100% nubby taupe linen which is so completely soft. It features hand stitching along the hemline. Flora’s wings have been made of muslin. They have been machine quilted & painted in sweet pinks. They’ve been stained & sanded, giving them such a lovely, prim appearance. They’re attached to her body with a vintage pink button & black embroidery thread.

Flora’s hair is black mohair. It’s been applied with light glue for extra security & needle-felting. It’s styled into loose messy buns.

Adelaide – A Sweet Valentine Angel in Pale Shades

This little girl is Adelaide. Adelaide is a special angel. She brings with her Love & can be displayed in your home throughout the year. She is my original design & has been made of muslin & stuffed with fiberfill. She measures 14.5″ tall from head to toe. She’s been painted & sanded a couple of times, giving her a lovely, aged patina. She’s been sealed with a combination of glossy & matte sealers so that she may be lightly dusted after display. Adelaide can sit only with assistance. She has a hemp loop attached to her back for hanging. Her knees have been sewn through, making her a perfect shelf sitter.

Adelaide’s skirt is sumptuous! It is made of nubby, soft 100% natural linen. If you love texture & natural colors–this doll is so suitable for you!

Adelaide’s fingers have been needle-sculpted by hand. She sports brown, painted boots with tan socks & heavily detailed taupe laces. Her heart has been made of muslin & stuffed with fiberfill. It’s been painted, sanded, aged & detailed. Love has been written in black ink, on taupe cardstock & attached to the fabric heart with two tiny vintage mother of pearl buttons. The heart is attached to hemp string. It can be removed & stored so that you can display this lovely angel all year!

Adelaide’s wings are 9.5″ wide. They’ve been made of muslin, machine-quilted, painted, sanded & aged a couple of times. I added vintage-style glass glitter to both the front & back of the wings. They’re attached to Adelaide with several strands of heavy duty button thread & a vintage button.
