A Curly-headed Little Red Riding Hood

Sometimes you just need another person in your wolf pack.

I’m sure this familiar duo needs no introduction. This curly haired Little Red is 14.5 inches from head to toe, while her little friend measures 6 inches top to bottom. She has been made of muslin & stuffed with fiberfill. She’s been hand-painted & sanded a couple of times, giving her a lovely, aged patina. Little Red has an embroidery loop attached making her suitable for hanging or she may sit with assistance. Her knees are sewn through making her a great shelf sitter. She’s been sealed with a combination of glossy & matte sealers so that she may be lightly dusted after display.

Little Red’s face has been painted with a variety of media. Her nose & bottom lip have been needle-sculpted by hand giving her a pouty look. Her hands have been needle-sculpted as well. She sports brown painted gloves. She also sports brown boots with red laces & tan socks.

Little Red’s blouse is made of white muslin. It features hand-gathered sleeves & hand-stitching around the neckline and back. It is finished off with tiny black buttons at the neckline. Her cape is made from dark red polka dot fabric, while her skirt is an muted blue & brown ticking stripe. The hem is hand-stitched & Little Red’s cape ties with two chocolate ribbons.

Little Red’s charming purse has been made of dark brown wool. It features embroidery in shades of blue & red & a huge, vintage, mother of pearl button on the front.

Sweet Laurel, a Not-So-Spooky Witch

Doesn’t this little girl just scare your pants off? No? OK. So she’s not that spooky. But she’s sure to have a little mischief brewing under that hat.

Meet Laurel. Laurel is 15.5 inches from head to toe. She’s 18.5 inches counting her pointy hat. She has been made of muslin & stuffed with fiberfill. Laurel’s been fashioned in the style of a stump doll & is free-standing. Her base has been rag-stuffed & bean-filled so that she stands nicely. She’s been hand-painted & sanded a couple of times, giving her a lovely, aged patina. She’s been sealed with a combination of glossy & matte sealers so that she may be lightly dusted after display.

Laurel’s face has been painted with a variety of media. Her nose & bottom lip have been needle-sculpted by hand. Her hands have been needle-sculpted as well. She sports grey painted gloves.

Laurel’s blouse is made of white muslin. It features hand-gathered sleeves & hand-stitching around the neckline and back. It is finished off with vintage mother of pearl buttons at the neckline. Laurel’s skirt is a slightly shimmery, grey, fashion fabric. It is slightly stiff but makes the prettiest poofy skirt. The hem is hand-stitched with contrasting black thread. Laurel’s hat is made of the same fabric & is accented with a pretty, black & white polka dot bow which is pinned in place.

Laurel’s little feathered friend has bean made of 4 separate pieces. He’s been made of muslin & stuffed with fiberfill. His wings & tail have been hand-quilted & are button jointed. He’s been painted with acrylics & sealed with matte sealer. He’s 5″ wide from tail to beak & is attached to Laurel’s arm with rusty wire.

Laurel’s red hair is 100% mohair. It has been applied with light glue for extra security & needle-felting.

Norma, A Wee Red Witch & Her Tiny Owl Friend

This sweet girl is Norma. Norma is a wee witch standing only 6? tall. With her wool hat, she stands 8? tall. She is doll # 110 & will come signed & dated with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Norma has been made of muslin & stuffed with fiberfill. Her base is rag-stuffed & bean-filled so that she may stand freely & firmly. She has been painted & sanded a couple of times giving her a lovely, aged patina. Her face has been painted with a variety of media. She has a needle-sculpted nose & wee, needle-sculpted fingers.

Norma carries her pet owl in her polka dot purse. He is 1.5? tall & 1? wide.

This little girl’s clothing is made from 100% cotton. Her blouse is muslin & features hand-stitching around the neckline, back & sleeves. Tiny buttons adorn the front of her blouse. Norma’s skirt is 100% cotton & features hand-stitching along the hem.

Norma’s hair is 100% curly wool. It has been applied with light glue & needle-felting.

Silly Sally with Jack O’ Lantern Balloon

This silly girl is Sally. Sally can’t wait to celebrate Halloween & has even taken to carrying around this Jack 0′ Lantern balloon. I don’t think it’s gonna make Halloween get here any bit sooner, though! Sally is 16″ from head to toe & sits quite lovely on her own. She has been made of muslin & stuffed with fiberfill. Her lower torso has been rag-stuffed & bean-filled in order to weight her little bottom. She’s been hand-painted & sanded a couple of times, giving her such a lovely, aged patina. She’s been sealed with a combination of glossy & matte sealers so that she may be lightly dusted after display. Sally’s knees are sewn through making her a great shelf sitter.

Sally’s face has been painted with a variety of media. Her nose & bottom lip have been needle-sculpted by hand. Her hands have been needle-sculpted as well. She sports brown painted gloves. She also sports painted brown boots with tan socks & black & grey laces.

I just love this fabric combo! Sally’s blouse is made of white muslin. It features hand-gathered sleeves & hand-stitching around the neckline and back. It is finished off with tiny green buttons at the neckline. Her apron skirt consists of a black & white polka dot print and a green two-toned floral print. Both are 100% cotton & are guaranteed to delight you. Sally’s hem has been hand-stitched with black thread. Her blouse was treated to a coffee bath for a slightly aged appearance. It was then hand-washed & pressed.

This little fellow is a little more primitive & dull than he appears in this photo. He is attached to sturdy, rusty wire which is wrapped around Sally’s arm & balances at her side. Doesn’t he make you just smile?

Sally’s hair is 100% red mohair. It has been applied with light glue for extra security & needle-felting. It has been styled into a quirky pigtails & tied with black embroidery thread.
