Notice I didn’t say afters! There’s still so much work to be done that I don’t really consider these photos afters. They’re definitely in-progress pictures. Although you won’t really see the boxes that still need to be unpacked or the piles of random odds & ends that need to be organized (or the rooms that are not included in these photos) they’re there! Trust me. What you will see are floors that need to be refinished or painted, ceilings that need to be smoothed or textured & here & there vignettes that make me smile.
Home ownership feels good. And nesting makes my heart happy.

Thanks Tonya! Lol. You’re right. There will probably never be an after…just years worth of durings. It makes a difference when it’s your own though.
Thanks Fran, Sara, Robin, Jeanne, JoEllen, Doreen & Debbie. We’ve been working hard on it. And there’s still a lot of work left to do! I’ve dreamed of a bright, white farmhouse for years. It feel good to finally look around & see that.
Sara, we sure did! I had no idea you could paint over tile until I did a little research. You just have to use a certain type of primer that bonds to ceramic tile. Once it’s primed, you paint over it with whatever type of wall paint you’re using. It does chip easily, though. We have to be really careful in the bathroom. I already have spots that need to be touched up. ( We scratched the wall a lot putting in the pedestal sink.) But, remodeling the bathroom right off wasn’t in our budget. Paint was.
Oh WOW. I love love love how bright and open and cheery you’ve made everything! Oh, it is so gorgeous, what a magical place to create!~
